Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2025

1. Information we collect

When you connect your Webflow account, we receive your Webflow user profile (name, email) and an OAuth access token scoped to read your sites and pages. We store the minimum data required to run scans: site names, domains, page URLs, and PageSpeed Insights scores.

If you submit a contact or feedback form, we store your name, email address, and message in our database.

2. How we use your information

We use your data solely to:

  • Run PageSpeed scans on your connected Webflow sites
  • Display performance history and score trends in your dashboard
  • Send email alerts when your site scores fall below your configured threshold
  • Respond to support or feedback messages you send us

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • Session cookie — an httpOnly cookie used to keep you logged in. Required for the app to function.
  • Consent cookie — stores your cookie preferences in localStorage so we don't ask again.
  • Analytics (optional) — if you accept all cookies, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the product so we can improve it. Clarity may set its own cookies. You can opt out at any time via the cookie banner.

4. Third-party services

  • Google PageSpeed Insights API — page URLs are sent to Google's API to retrieve Lighthouse scores. Google's Privacy Policy applies.
  • Webflow OAuth — we use Webflow's OAuth 2.0 to authenticate your account. We store only the access token needed to read your sites and pages.
  • Resend — we use Resend to send transactional emails (alerts, contact form confirmations).
  • Microsoft Clarity — optional analytics (only activated with your consent).

5. Data retention

Scan results and site data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect your Webflow account at any time from the dashboard settings, which will stop future scans. To request deletion of your data, contact us at hello@octagramlabs.com.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@octagramlabs.com.
