Shareable Reports

Every scan has a Share button in its header. Click it, and Site Health generates a public, branded URL you can send to anyone — no login, no account required.

How it works

  1. Open any completed scan.
  2. Click Share Report in the header.
  3. Pick an expiry (7 / 30 / 90 days or never).
  4. Copy the URL.

The URL looks like:

https://sitehealth.octagramlabs.com/report/<token>

The token is opaque, unguessable, and tied to a single scan. Rotate it any time by clicking Revoke & regenerate.

What the report looks like

The public report mirrors the internal site detail view but stripped of dashboard chrome:

  • Site name and scan date at the top
  • Health, Performance, SEO, Accessibility, Best Practices as big score cards
  • Full per-page table with CWV
  • Third-party script breakdown
  • Accessibility issues grouped by severity
  • Mobile / Desktop toggle — if the underlying scan was "Both", viewers can flip between strategies
  • Lead-gen CTA at the bottom (see below)

The layout is print-friendly: Ctrl/Cmd+P → Save as PDF produces a clean multi-page document.

Expiry options

ExpiryGood for
7 daysOne-off audits, cold outreach
30 daysClient deliverables
90 daysLong-running retainers
NeverInternal documentation, archives

Expired reports return a branded 410 page telling the viewer to request a new link.

View count tracking

Every report shows a view count in your dashboard. Sent a link on Monday and it's still at 0 on Thursday? Your client hasn't opened it. Time to follow up.

View count = unique IPs

We dedupe by IP within a 24-hour window, so one client refreshing the page ten times counts as one view.

The lead-gen CTA

The bottom of every public report includes a CTA directing readers to run their own Webflow performance scan on Site Health. For agencies this is free top-of-funnel — every client deliverable quietly markets you. The CTA is not customizable yet; white-label branding is on the roadmap.

Security notes

  • Tokens are random 32-byte values, URL-safe base64 encoded.
  • The underlying scan is read-only — no write endpoints are exposed through the share token.
  • Revoking a token is instant.
  • Tokens do not expose other scans or sites — one token, one scan.

What's next

  • Automate delivery with the Weekly Digest — agencies often pair a digest email with a monthly shareable report.
